I’ve known for some time that I don’t have a great attention span. I’m not sure if it’s because I grew up playing a lot of video games or if I’m just someone who has a hard time focusing.
I also have a rage problem. Those previous sentences took a few shots to get right; I kept hitting the wrong keys and wanted to break my laptop in response. I hate having these problems. I’ve been looking for potential supplements to help with the issue, as I’m not a fan of using series drugs to fix anything. It has its place but I don’t want that place to be me, unless I have no other choice.
I’ve been researching temp sensors online. It blows my mind that nothing exists which would allow you to detect microclimates on your farm. I have some Arduino computers. I’m starting to think I may need to build something but I don’t know how; I want to build a project that will allow me to place sensors around the farm and detect microclimates. We made the unfortunate decision to build the garden on the south side of a hill (the hill is wooded, so we didn’t really notice the hill at first but… what’s done is done). This hill is, I believe, producing a heavy cold sink for us in the garden. We frost at 36-37 degrees. I want to be able to develop a heat map for the farm that gives us a picture of how temperatures are related on the farm.
We also know that the meadow is cold. When the sun goes down on a hot day, you can go down to the meadow and cool down. It’ll be bordering on cold.
Focus on the farm; eyes on the farm. I need to keep reminding myself.
