After much discussion and handwringing, Kendra has convinced me that I should try my hand at consistent blog updates and YouTube videos. I’ve never been consistent with the former and I’ve never tried the latter. I may clean up some of the posts on this site as I’m not keen on my dirty laundry being public, but … who knows? Maybe it’s worth leaving out there.
The plan, to begin, is bi-weekly videos, weekly blog entries, and perhaps some more action on X. I can’t really figure out what I’d do with the latter, as I don’t really comment on current events. I mostly save posts that I really like so I can come back to them.
I’ve begun working on my scripts for the first few videos on YouTube; I’d like to be ahead of the curve, as consistency is key. Having a few stored up will make it easier to accomplish the goal.
I posted our first item on Etsy, as well. We’ve never had anything up there before, but we’ve had the account for a while so it’s time to start paying attention to it.
Further, we do have an online store and I need to get that up and running. I’m fully dedicating myself to the farm over the next year and a half. If it doesn’t work out, I’m going back to daydreaming about making video games.
